Canolfan Cymunedol Mynach Community Centre, located in Devil’s Bridge, Ceredigion, has recently undergone
a major interior and exterior redevelopment project, transforming it into a modern community hub for the
benefit of local community groups and local residents.
It has been an absolute pleasure working locally with Canolfan Cymunedol Mynach Community Centre to support them on their digital transformation journey and adoption of their modern meeting space. The Centre recently approached us with initial ideas of installing video conferencing facilities at their beautiful, historic chapel building in Devil’s Bridge, Ceredigion, which they have recently renovated to a very high standard. Pugh’s IT Manager Elfed Jenkins worked closely with them to gather and understand their full set of requirements before providing a live demonstration of Pugh’s own modern meeting room at our Llanon headquarters.
The Centre were very impressed upon seeing how fast and easy it was to host and join hybrid online meetings using Microsoft Teams and Zoom. A large, height adjustable SMART interactive board allows all participants to be seen and heard, even when sat at the back of the hall or when joining remotely. The best-in-class board can also be used for presentations, and as a touchscreen, it transforms into a digital whiteboard for writing and real-time annotations. The large screen is also ideal for their plans to engage with the local community by hosting movie nights and various other events.
