Pugh are delighted to have designed and supplied Mantell Gwynedd’s brand-new sustainable and inclusive modern hybrid meeting space. As an umbrella body for third sector organisations and community groups in Gwynedd, Mantell Gwynedd provide valuable information, training and workshops covering aspects such as social value, finance and funding, legal matters and volunteer recruitment.

Mantell Gwynedd approached us with the requirement of a hybrid working and meeting solution to offer their team the flexibility of working in the office, from home and on the go. They needed a solution to run hybrid meetings for both internal and external participants, to easily present and share their screens and that was compatible with both Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

Mantell Gwynedd take great pride in supporting local voluntary and community groups, acting as a strong voice for the third sector in Gwynedd. Therefore, as well as for internal use, Mantell Gwynedd wanted a system that would also serve the wider community. It was very important to be able to offer modern meeting facilities that their diverse range of users would be able to book and easily make use of.

Pugh designed and supplied a tailored solution to meet their exact needs, as well as providing user training in Welsh. A key aspect of their system is a SMART 75-inch touch-enabled interactive display, allowing users to see all meeting participants, present information and collaborate on the digital whiteboard.

The system also includes a Yealink 4K presenter-tracking camera, discreet ceiling-mounted microphones and premium-quality speakers to ensure that all participants are seen and heard clearly. Completing the system is a Yealink one-touch join panel that allows users to join Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings effortlessly.

The Loxit wall mounted screen with its remote controlled electric lift allows easy height adjustment. This ensures inclusivity for all in-person participants, enabling everyone to make use of the facilities including young children and wheelchair users.

Mantell Gwynedd’s modern meeting space reduces the need for their team and the wider community to travel to meetings, allowing them to benefit from significant time and cost savings. The reduced environmental impact also plays a key role in contributing towards becoming carbon neutral.
